A Spouse's Love

God’s loving relationship with his people is like a husband who never gives up on his wife. God’s love for us is redemptive and restorative, because of his faithfulness. He does not desire our forced obedience but our love and commitment. No matter how far we might be from God or how long we might have turned our attention away, he is always ready to welcome us back.
